DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has introduced a PHP1 billion ($17.8 million) prediction campaign on its ArenaPlus platform, aiming to boost engagement in the Philippines’ online sports betting market.
Launched on March 21, the “Prediction Giveaway” features a free-to-play bracket format tied to professional basketball playoffs—marking ArenaPlus’ first localized rollout of a system widely used in the United States.
The campaign allows users to predict outcomes across the entire playoff series, keeping them engaged from early rounds through to the finals.
ArenaPlus Head Erick Su, said:
The bracket game is actually very common in the US… but the Philippines has never had that experience. We want to bring that here.
Designed as a free-to-play initiative, the campaign focuses on both user acquisition and retention by offering a high-engagement experience without requiring financial commitment.
The company also emphasized its responsible gaming framework, with features such as time limits, customizable play schedules, and loss thresholds. Participation is supported by eKYC verification to ensure a “secure, transparent, and compliant environment.”
ArenaPlus Marketing Head Hannah Bagui said the platform remains focused on making sports “more immersive” and “more rewarding” for users.
The initiative forms part of DigiPlus’ broader strategy to expand its audience through interactive, sports-driven digital experiences, as competition in the Philippine online sportsbook market continues to grow.
